Home Healthcare and the Benefits at a Glance

In-home health care is a type of medical care that includes a wide range of services, from skilled nursing care to physical therapy. Home health care can be an invaluable resource for seniors who need help managing their health. Still, it can also be an excellent option for people of all ages recovering from an injury or illness.

One of the main benefits of in-home health care is that it allows people to receive the care they need in the comfort of their homes. This can be a significant benefit for seniors who may not be able to travel to see their doctors or for people who are recovering from a hospital stay. Home health care can also be more affordable than traditional in-patient care, making it an excellent option for people on a budget.

That is why at AIMS Mobile Nursing, we ensure that you receive compassoinate, superb medical attention with the ease of affordable pricing and the option of financial arrangements. This is yet another benefit that we offer ar Aims Mobile Nursing.

Some In-Home Procedures

Vascular access is a term that refers to the devices and procedures used to gain intravenous (IV) access to a patient’s veins. Many vascular access procedures range from simple, basic access methods to more complex, advanced techniques.

Basic vascular access procedures include:

  • Venipuncture (the insertion of a needle into a vein to draw blood),
  • IV catheterization (the insertion of a minor, thin tube into a vein to administer fluids or medications),
  • IV infusion (the administration of fluids or medications through an IV catheter).

More advanced vascular access procedures include:

  • Central Venous Catheterization (the insertion of a larger tube into a large vein near the heart),
  • Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) lines (the insertion of a long, thin tube into a large vein in the arm),
  • Port Systems (a surgically implanted device that provides direct access to a large vein near the heart).

At AIMS Mobile Nursing, we have decades of combined experience, have seen a wide range of scenarios, and are confident in handling medical procedures involving vascular access.
